Our Compliance Commitment

NEPCON Verification Pvt Ltd is committed to operating background screening programs that are lawful, fair, transparent, and respectful of data-subject rights. We align our policies and procedures with recognised industry practices and applicable regulations in Nepal and in jurisdictions where our clients operate.

Data Protection and Privacy

We maintain a privacy program that includes documented retention schedules, access controls, incident-response procedures, and staff confidentiality obligations. Personal data is collected only for defined verification purposes and shared on a need-to-know basis with vetted sources and subprocessors.

Fair and Ethical Screening

We support clients in making informed, non-discriminatory decisions by providing factual report content without unlawful bias. Clients are expected to use screening results consistently with equal-opportunity principles and to offer candidates an opportunity to review and dispute inaccurate information where required by law or policy.

Quality Assurance

Our verification workflows include source documentation, analyst review, and audit sampling. Turnaround commitments and accuracy targets are monitored internally. Clients may request reinvestigation of reportable discrepancies under the terms of their service agreement.

Regulatory and Industry Alignment

Nepcon designs its operations with reference to widely adopted background-screening standards and client due-diligence requirements, including:

  • Documented permissible-purpose and consent requirements for each verification type
  • Secure handling of criminal, financial, and identity records from authorised sources
  • Subprocessor due diligence and contractual data-protection terms
  • Ongoing training for verification analysts on confidentiality and fraud awareness

Certifications and Audits

We pursue relevant certifications and third-party assessments appropriate to our market and client expectations. Current credentials and audit summaries are available to enterprise clients upon request under confidentiality.

Reporting Concerns

Employees, clients, or data subjects who believe our practices fall short of this framework may report concerns to our compliance team at yogendra@nverification.com. We investigate good-faith reports and take corrective action where warranted.
